Latest Research On Genital Warts Says Prevention Is Possible

According to the latest research on genital warts, there is hope for women of prevention of the virus HPV. The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) gave its recommendation that a vaccine be approved to help prevent women with the virus from developing cervical cancer and other health complications. The ACIP recommended this vaccine be developed and offered for the public. The ACIP is made up of experts from across the nation who serve as consultants and advisors to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

The vaccine has already been developed. It is called Gardasil. Using the latest research on genital warts, Gardasil is effective against four different kinds of HPV. These four types of the virus all together are the root of 90% of all cases of genital warts, and 70% of cases of cervical cancer caused by HPV.

The latest research on genital warts has resulted in the Food and Drug Administration allowing the use of Gardasil for females age 9 to 26. The way the vaccine is administered is by giving 3 shots to patients undergoing treatment over the course of 6 months.

This research has not been conclusive about whether the vaccine may be effective for males with the virus. In some rare cases, men with HPV develop penile or anal cancer, and it is believed that this vaccine may help prevent these types of cancer in the same way. Research shows that there is a possibility that giving the vaccine to males with HPV may help keep it from spreading to women. These studies are being carried out now. If the latest research finds the vaccine to be effective in treating males infected with HPV, the vaccine can help dramatically to reduce the spread and health effects of the disease.

According to the latest research on genital warts, the vaccine works quite well. In women who had already contracted HPV, the vaccine was less effective than in women who had not yet contracted it.

What researchers still don't know is how long the vaccine will continue to protect those who take it. The first vaccinations were five years ago, and the women who received it are still cancer-free. Now, they are studying the lifespan of the vaccine and considering whether a booster vaccine may be needed to prolong the protection.

According to the FDA, there is no danger in using the HPV vaccine Gardasil. They have also determined that it effectively keeps HPV infected individuals from developing genital warts. All over the world, the vaccine has been used by 11,000 women and girls. There have been no incidents of any side effects.

Don't Clone your Book or Business Marketing

Remember that the miracle of cloning sheep has its drawbacks. The main one--dying young.

Don't let your business die young by following the herd. Instead, think of the natural ways you like to market.

Here are some Marketing Ideas that Make Big Promises. And, when followed by investing a large amount of money and time, only a few will get the results they hope for.

1. Make your book a #1 best seller on Amazon. This idea teaches authors that if they offer $1000's of bonus books, reports and the like, and tell all their email lists to buy the book on a particular day at Amazon, they will make extreme sales.

In many sales letters that give away $1000's more than the price of their book, it looks a little suspicious or gimmicky. "Killer copy" and other web sizzle language doesn't bring confidence to most business people. The programs sold are over $2000. An old saying came from Robert Allen something like: "You make much more money teaching people how to make money than they ever will implementing the skills."

2. Optimize your web site standings in the search engines with ads placed in Google.com and through ------.

After putting a lot of time into writing ad copy, paying an upfront consultant fee, and paying monthly costs of the key words, I'd say the results for my top four business books were near 0.

Yes, I heard of one author that didn't invest more than $400 a month to reap $4000 book sales, but her book was highly specialized. When another web master I know followed this tact, she invested thousands a month to yield here only 50% in sales. For $2500 investment for the first month, she made $1250. Once the competition caught on, her sales dropped and no longer gave her a desired income.

Natural Marketing

Like myself, if you are a writer or author, it will be easy and natural for you to write short articles and tips for opt-in (no spam) ezines you subscribe to. This one thing has kept me at #1 for the phrase "bookcoaching." for four years and has placed my writings on over 21000 sites, the number increasing 1000 each month.

If you don't like to write much, maybe you'll love BLOGs. They bring similar results as the articles and your own ezine do. It's a mini web site, and an interactive process your visitors will like it because they see you more casually and personally. My blog's format will be question and answer, also letting my humor and opinions out to show I'm human.

If you like to share yourself and your solutions with others publically, you may enjoy presenting to groups and have your product available at the back of the room. A similar venue would be joining a networking group. Bring your business card that features either your blog site URL or your ezine subscription information. When you collect these email addresses, you grow your lists of target to-be-buyers.

Cloning isn't always healthy or profitable. Stay true to your own style of sharing yourself, your business, or book.

Burn-Out

For thirty years as an award winning photographer for 3000 weddings and Bar Mitzvahs I strained to please demanding bosses and nervous mothers of the bride. The bosses supplied me with long lists of pictures to take at the wedding, pictures of scenes that did not exist or were impossible to capture. Reminded emphatically to record on film all of the tables, I often tried my hardest to find even one table with all of the guests present without luck. I knew that an irate bride and groom awaited me, ready to express their disappointment and threatening not to pay me for a bad job. Eventually, experience taught me to photograph the tables as soon as the guests were seated, completing as many as possible before the dancing and table hopping started. Of course, I couldnt disturb them when the first course was served.

Once I asked permission to move a small table in the living room so that I could photograph her daughter in her full length bridal gown. The mother said to go ahead and move it. After the portrait was taken, I replaced the table carefully. Two weeks later she complained to my boss that one of the items on the side table had been moved out of position and demanded an apology or a bunch of free pictures in compensation. There are all kinds of people.

On one occasion, the haranguing demands from the boss was so upsetting that I completely forgot to load my camera case in the car. Luckily, I was an hour early and had time to go back. Hard drinking guests can be violent, threatening to destroy my camera if I didn't stop taking their picture. After trying several times to capture even one picture of the bride with her immediate family but put off, my last minute request for a family picture was met by the father's statement that he liked to be photographed at his own pace and to do it later. There was no later. I have been admonished for not using the back entrance to the house, refused a break after being on my feet for ten hours and had my lenses stolen from the front row of a church pew.

All this is to give you some idea of my state of mind when I am asked to photograph a relative's wedding (as my gift to the bride and groom), instead of going as a guest. This way no one else would have to worry about pictures, bring or buy a camera, film, flashes, etc. and the family would be able to place the burden of good pictures on someone else. Recently, my disinclination to be the official wedding photographer is met with begging, accusations that I don't care and "Couldn't you do it for me?" I even remind them that I had sold my professional cameras years ago and was left with only a thirty-five year old 35mm amateur camera. I finally give in and agree to take some snapshots and donate them to the bride and groom. This was a mistake. The first three people I approached for a picture demurred, refusing to be photographed. One was my daughter. Two minutes after the ceremony the groom took off his coat and the bride , instead of sticking around for the family pictures, went into the house to rest, emerging two hours later.

When the snapshots came back, there followed a week of angry ranting of "Why didn't you get a picture of great aunt Millie?. And What do you mean the film got stuck when you tried to get a picture of feeding the cake to the groom? And you call yourself a professional." All this in spite of the fact that they had over a hundred perfect pictures to look at. Now my name is mud for the rest of the year and my wife reminds me at every photographic occasion not to forget that I screwed up her brothers wedding pictures. Even though most weddings came off without a hitch, when the next wedding in the family comes around, I think I'll just tell them that I am now officially burned out.

Rome Hotels

Wouldn't be wonderful leave everything and fly to Rome whenever the spirit moved us? The most important single thing you as a conscious traveler can do before booking your hotel in Rome is to schedule your trip to Rome in the off-season: in fact the number of people going to Rome every year increases the 10 %.

Throughout Italy, the high season is generally from the first of April to October and again for the two weeks around Christhmas and new year's Eve. August is the traditional vacation month for most in Rome, while Venetians vacations, for example, are in the damp months of January and February: Rome is almost empty during the month of August.

Carrying large amount of cash, even in a money belt, is risky business. If you bring traveler's cheques, charge big items on your credit card, convert euros as you go and use ATM machines for your daily expenses like entrance fees and Rome tour guide sightseeing services. Tips are appreciated and expected for good service in restaurants or at the concierges. Although restaurant bills often include a service charge, this amount is not typically for the waiters/staff. A typical tip is approximately 10%.

Using the internet and sending the emails from your hotels in Rome is rapidly becoming a good services offered by the Rome hotels' owners, but if it an hassle to log on on your computer room, go to a cybercafe: they charge only 2 euro each hour. With the internet conncetion inside your hotel rooms you can find for example, a tour guide of Rome or a museum opening hours schedule.

If you've got one day left to kill in Rome and have completely burned out your credit cards and ended your savings,You can either sit in your hotel room taking advantage of the many things Rome offers da gratis, like the Mouth of Truth.
