How to Find the Best Bicycle Frame

Whether you're shopping for a bike or just admiring them, the first part you notice is probably the bicycle frame. The frame is the heart of a bicycle, as well as its art.Including the basically triangular core structure that supports both seat and handlebars and the extensions that attach to the wheels, the color and the geometry of the bicycle frame not only affects the beauty of the bike, but its strength and speed as well. The pleasure and success you derive from bicycle riding will be strongly impacted by having the right frame for your physique and your purposes.

Naturally, your bicycle frame will take into dramatic account whether you ride primarily on roads or off-road.Not only are so-called mountain bike frames made of noticeably bigger "tubes," they are made of more shock resistant materials, with stronger weldings. Road bike frames have a smaller triangular geometry and the main consideration in their material is its weight.Everything on a road bike is designed to keep the rider's resistance to a minimum in order to promote fluency and speed, while a mountain bike is designed with the primary goal of shock absorption and maneuverability in mind alongside speed-influencing factors.

Even among these two main divisions, you will find major differences in bicycle frames.Road bikes used primarily for touring or recreational riding will have frames with a more relaxed geometry and more total horizontal spread front to back, while racing bikes will tighten that structure for a shorter front to back bike length.A tighter triangle and less distance between the bicycle frame and the tires acts to decrease the resistance of wind and road for a racer, as well as to increase the bike's ability to respond to the quick, minute maneuverings road racing requires.

In addition, your unique body shape and weight will also affect what kind of bicycle frame is best for your comfort and accomplishment.Standard frame measurements, made along the seat tube of a frame, take into account the length of your legs, but the relationship of your torso length and arm length to the length of your legs is also extremely important to comfort on a bicycle, and the length of the top tube of the bicycle frame must also be examined. Two riders of identical height may need completely different bicycle frames. The best thing you can do is to shop at a bicycle store where knowledgeable riders earn their living and where you are allowed to try out a bicycle before buying it.

Herbal Skin Care

Herbs have been used in skin care from times immemorial. Ancient Ayurvedic texts in India speak of the use various herbs, such as, basil, turmeric, and saffron in skin care preparations. Herbs are now being increasingly used in the manufacture of skin care products across the world because of their healing and rejuvenating properties. Some brands do not even use artificial preservatives in their products, instead depending on the inherent quality of certain herbs to preserve themselves.

Today, aloe vera is one of the most popular herbs, hailed for its skin-soothing and anti-aging properties. It is used in cleansers, face washes, massage creams, sunscreens, and anti-acne products. Tea tree oil is also widely used in skin care products for its antiseptic and anti-acne properties. Ginseng, sage, rosemary, witch hazel, chamomile, calendula, and arnica are also popular. They are used in the manufacture of skin care products for different skin types, based on their properties.

Basil and mint are used in acne skin care because of their anti-bacterial and refreshing properties. Fresh basil or mint juice can be applied everyday on pimples. Turmeric is another essential ingredient in many skin care products because of its antiseptic quality. It ensures a glowing, blemish-free complexion. Fresh turmeric fingers can be ground with a little milk and applied on the face and the body. Pure saffron is widely used in traditional medicinal and skin care preparations in India and the Middle East. A few almonds and saffron strands can be soaked in milk and then ground into a paste with the milk. Mixed with rosewater, this face mask nourishes and revitalizes skin. These are simple herbal skin care preparations that can be made by everybody at home. However, elaborate herbal remedies should not be attempted at home without proper knowledge of herbs and their effects.

To conclude, certain herbs are very beneficial for the skin and products containing them can be used with good effect. However, products of only reputed brands should be used, as the wrong mix of herbs could create problems.

Bachelorette Party: Girls-Night-Out Scavenger Hunt

Weve been to them. Weve hosted them. Weve even starred in our own. Todays bachelorette party is an opportunity for brides, their bridal party and good friends to spend a night on the town, a cozy evening at home, a pampered day out, or even a weekend hike.

But like any bridal tradition, the bachelorette party that mimics the grooms own bachelor party has become a right of passage for brides: something old, something new, something borrowed and something so shocking that the discovery of it by the groom before the wedding is a constant fear. Do you take this man? I do. Oh God if hell still have me!

The party often starts innocently enough at a designated meeting place. There the bride is decorated and armed with props: a veil, an Im the bride t-shirt, a garter, a male blow-up doll, candy necklaces and one of many cocktails. They play games like penis ring toss, pin the hose on the fireman, and have a carve a penis out of a banana competition. Then they dance out to their limo or chauffeured van on a nocturnal quest of bar-crawling often including Fabio-type strippers and an estrogen-infused scavenger hunt.

Dares and Duties

How does the scavenger hunt work? There is a checklist of tasks or dares that the bachelorette and/or her fellow partners in crime must tackle by the end of the night. The one who completes the most tasks or scores the most points is the winner. The following are just suggestions. Make your own list as risque or as tame as you'd like.

Get a picture with a cop; you hold his nightstick (3pts.)

Kiss a bald man on top of the head (1pt.)

Find someone with the same name as the fianc and have him propose to you (1pt.)

Have a man order a sexy drink for you, i.e. Sex on the Beach, Slippery Nipple, Blow-Job, etc. (3pts.)

Have a guy write his phone number somewhere on your body where no one can see it (2pts.)

Be serenaded by a random guy while you sit on his lap (2pts.)

Find a guy with a hidden tattoo and have the bride find it and kiss it (3pts.)

Have your picture taken with mullet-man (1pt.)

Remove an article of clothing on a guy (1pt.)

Do a body shot off of a stranger (3pts.)

The possibilities for a memorable bachelorette party are endless; it all depends on how crazy or mellow the group is and the goal of the event. One way to find out if the scavenger hunt was a success: if the groom discovers a strange phone number on his new bride's backside during the honeymoon, than it was successful! The marriage? Well, that's another story.

Healthy Skin

The skin is the largest organ in the body. Because it is an organ, it needs to be treated well. If it isnt, it will become sick or will become hurt. What is amazing is that the skin is the surface that is most abused and least taken care of. Many people even eat right and exercise daily without ever thinking of their skin. Doesnt seem right does it? It is when we age that we think our skin looks wrinkled or frail. Age spots make us think twice about the things we do and the products we use. But, having healthy skin starts long before we are old. It starts when we are young.

All parents need to teach their child the proper way to treat their skin. From head to toe we need to thoroughly clean it and protect it from the beginnings of life. Harsh soaps can lead to damaged or dry skin even when we are young. Parents should provide a daily regimen for their child to follow which includes bathing, washing of the face, and treating cuts, scrapes or other wounds.

In the teenage years, skin becomes the enemy for many teens. Because of the increased hormone activity in the body, skin can develop acne. No teenager wants to be seen with that, but unfortunately, it is not always a choice. Acne severity has been linked to genetics as well as unhealthy treatment of the skin. There are medications that can help lessen the effects it has though.

As we age, we need to continue to properly take care of the skin. There are many products on the market that claim to provide healthy skin treatments. Sometimes they work others they do not. It is true, in fact, that eating a balanced diet that is full of antioxidant rich foods can reduce wrinkles and dry skin. Just eating right can help you avoid those overpriced products.

To maintain healthy skin, people need to treat it properly and protect it. For this reason, we have saved the most important feature for last. It is essential that any amount of exposure to sun be done only with the use of sun screen. The suns harmful rays can cause cancer with just a slight amount of exposure. You do not need to burn for this to happen either. You may never even realize it in fact.

To have healthy skin, you just need to follow a healthy diet and maintain proper cleansing habits. Then, you and your skin can be at peace with each other!
